So I've decided to do the qotd. =D;

They are criminals. But we are Americans - we should set the example. Give them a trial. Until then, keep them locked up and FOR THE SAKE OF ALL THINGS SANE don't set them free~ These are war criminals. Deny them any luxuries, give them only enough food to live, no soft place to sleep. The homeless in our own country (and many others) get the same treatment and most of them haven't done anything terribly wrong, let alone blown innocent people up and killed soldiers fighting for freedom. In short, send them somewhere else.

Whether I agree with the closing of the facility at all is a whole 'nother post.

The opinions expressed herein belong solely to the author. Your mileage may vary. Do not insert batteries backwards. Do not use past expiration date. Not for human consumption.

I haven't updated this since last June. Woah.

Anyway, to catch up...

I'm almost out of school for the year. I have one more year to go until I graduate. I'm working at a nursing home as a CNA. I work night shift five days a week. I still love writing and I'm working on finishing my novel. I still have my Arky and my Jewel kitties. I fostered a little boy chihuahua a few months ago but found him a home. Uh. I changed my hairstyle a little. I got a car. My car died. I need another car already. I got my driver's permit and take my test in April. I think that's mostly it.

:]

I almost forgot about LJ. It's been over a month.

So, I'm doing okay. Not accomplishing much so far, but I'm having fun. I'll probably go somewhere tomorrow with Dad since it's father's day. There's an annoying mosquito bite on my arm that's turning into a sore from me scratching so much. A friend of mine moved to Iowa, but I sent her a letter. I highlighted my hair.

I went on a canoe trip awhile back. It was fun. We stopped on a sand bar and had a picnic. I skipped rocks with Pest. The river was cold. |: Then we went up into this creek like thing, but we had to walk and leave the canoes behind because it was so shallow. Pest saw this tiny little water snake. Then I saw a BIG one. Then someone killed it. D: But as we were leaving, apparently I was standing right next to a coiled snake because when the other canoe went by after us, they saw it right where I was. That as a weird feeling. Then the second we got out of the creek thing, the sky was DARK and it was thundering. We were trying to make it to the dock when a streak of lightning came down. Water + metal canoe + lightning = badness. We finally got to the dock, which wasn't the one we were supposed to go to. This one was between where we put into the river and where we wanted to go. Very convenient. It started raining just when we got there. The dudes that were with us ran up a hill and left Pest and me and his mom to run into the dock/store thing. Then it was rly windy and a boat was slamming into the dock and it felt like a tornado or something. XD When the storm stopped, we called someone to give us a ride since we had no cars there.

It was fun. Haha.

ARGGGGAAAAAAAGGRRR.

I'm having problems with the idea I thought was great. Turns out I have enough for half an outline. That's it. I know the beginning, I kinda know the middle. The end is unknown and I don't know how to get there. It's not like a novel where I can just drag it on for a several hundred pages, filled with subplots and lots of inward character musings. I have to fit a decent story into 2 1/2 hours of viewing tops and it has to be visual.

Bleh. Plus, I'm going to be super busy by the time June rolls around. D: At least I have almost a whole month to plan and organize. It would be nice to find someone to collaborate with. ;;

We bought some tomato plants yesterday the day before yesterday. The garden is halfway done! Zee is gonna have nice juicy tomatoes this year. :D

Scriptfrenzy opens today (maybe). It was supposed to open yesterday, but they had delays. And I'm still not done with my novel. Every time I look at it, my opinion of the entire idea gets worse. So now I have half an outline for my screenplay with an idea that I actually like.

Aside from that, no-p[.thing much. Arky stepped on the keyboard.

Woah. I was busy yesterday. I spent the day at Astina's house. Pest was there for awhile. He ran with a box on his head and tripped and went flying onto the ground and just..lay there. I found it hilarious. o_o Then we went in and played super mario 3.

I played soccer and got a sunburn. I learned that Darkstar (Astina's dog) likes to play soccer too. And Pest has a myspace.

The video of him rocking out of FOB is funny. He got a cool camera thingy that does movies and I think that was what he used.

Everyone went bowling last night but I was too tired to go. ;;
26th-Apr-2007 10:28 am - tests, oh my.
So the question went: Under the feudal system, someone who received land in return for his support was called _____. My answer: "a supporter". XD I never liked history class much. I opted to just draw a medieval scene instead of write about Marco Polo and his possibly-non-existent trip to China. The real answer to the question was "a vassal", btw. I still got a 96 on the test.

I didn't get to mow yesterday because the lawn mower broke and the working one was out of fuel. I'll have to mow after school today when Dad gets some gasoline at the station. And I couldn't rake because I want to mow before I rake. Bleh.

I did go fishing, though! Down to the river. It was kinda windy and cold but still pretty fun. I didn't catch anything though. Dad caught a trout and a bass. Which we will eat today. :] Some dudes came down there and they caught a catfish. Or so they said. I never saw it. XD

The window is open and I'm in shorts, so my legs are chilly. D:

So, not much going on. On lunch break again! Except I haven't got any food yet. Hardly anyone is online this time of day and I have yard work to do after school. ;o;

I should be working on my report in my free time. It's about Marco Polo in China. I started and then I read this article about how it wasn't even certain that Marco Polo ever EVEN WENT to China! I'm just all 'grr. if you can't get your facts straight, i'm not writing it at all. ||||:' Plus, Marco Polo is kinda boring anyway. And my keyboard is acting a little weird.

And just when I get over my cold, my ear starts hurting. D: -complains- XD

I think I might have a bowl of soy chili. Homemade. :] Mm. With a peanut butter sandwich. We bought this new kind of peanut butter. It's all natural with only peanuts in it. No salt or hydrogenated oils or w/e. But it has to be mixed because the peanut oil settles on top, which is tedious. We found a wire whisk works best. Anyway, I'm hungry, so.

My To-Do List:

- Finish reading the two novels you started. |:
- Finish writing novel before May!  (almost done, squee)
- Mow lawn and rake leaves in backyard.
- Groom the giant ball of tangled fuzz that is Jewel the cat.
18th-Apr-2007 09:57 am - sicky
Ugh. So I've been sick for the past..five days? Something like that. My throat is sore and I'm congested. Dad is nice and is at the store getting me some medicines. And I get to not do school work. But I also don't feel good. D:

Happy birthday to Casey! -balloons-

At least, I think it's her birthday. I hope I'm right or she might not be happy with Zee..
